About Me

Hi my name is Yvette Blalock. I'm the Math Intervention Specialist at the Bixby and North Long Beach Centers. I've been teaching and tutoring for over 12 years and it has been an absolute delight. I love working closely with students and having discussions about how the math they are learning can be applied to different professions. My interests include reading, playing and listening to music, learning about technology, and hiking.
